This topographic map was published in 1974 by the Mapping Unit, Singapore. Contours are shown every 20 metres, with supplementary contours at 5 and 10 metres above sea level.

The map distinguishes an unusually wide range of vegetation types, from jungle to minor cultivation. In conjunction with several other editions of post-war 1:63 360 and post-independence 1:50 000 mapping, available from TROPICARTA (requires Chomikuj account), it presents an interesting account of economic development, urbanisation, and a changing way of life.
