Kingman Reef / 1:25 000

This chart covers Kingman Reef, which lies between Hawai‘i and American Samoa. Nearly all parts are covered by the Pacific Ocean, however an area of 3 hectares (7 acres) lies awash at sea level. Kingman Reef has been scarcely affected by human activity, and is widely reported to support ‘spectacular’ diversity of life. It is now part of the United States’ Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument.

The chart was published in 2019 by the US National Oceanic and Atmopsheric Administration.

This is the only chart of Kingman Reef held by TROPICARTA (requires Chomikuj account).
