This topographic street plan of Hanoi dates from the era in which it was the capital of North Vietnam. The map produced in 1969 by the United States’ Army Map Service, but was reprinted in 1999 by its successor agency, the National Imagery and Mapping Agency.
The maps is highly detailed, and where possible, depicts the outlines of individual buildings. Roads and major buildings are both labelled and indexed in Vietnamese. The contour interval is 5 metres.
TROPICARTA has similar plans of more than 30 cities in Vietnam, including more recent mapping at 1:10 000 of Hanoi (requires Chomikuj account).
