This is a digital copy of ‘Ritzville’, a topographic map printed by the US federal government.
It is part of the Joint Operations Graphic (Air) series at 1:250,000. These topo maps are available throughout the Americas, and they portray the landscape more effectively than United States Geological Survey quads at the same scale. JOGs have the same attention to detail as 1×2 degree quadrangles, but their layer coloring, relief shading, landmarks, and minimal clutter give them superior legibility in the outdoors.
Key details of the printed map:
- edition 2
- reprinted in March 1998 by the National Imagery and Mapping Agency
- published by the Defense Mapping Agency, Aerospace Center
- air information current through January 3, 1983
- base map compiled in June 1975
- from survey information last dated 1975
This map offers more recent information than the equivalent USGS sheet, which was surveyed 10 years previously, in 1965.
