This is the clearest and most authoritative 1:250,000 topo map of ‘Craig, Colorado’.
It is part of the Joint Operations Graphic Air series. These topographic maps are available throughout the Americas, and in the United States, they are better than the Geological Survey’s quads at this scale, which are no longer maintained.
- Layer coloring, relief shading, and landmarks makes the landscape stand out.
- The portrayal of new features, and removal of outdated ones, makes the map more reliable.
- Minimal clutter makes the map easier to follow.
It is the best reference map of the area available to the public, with information that is 14 years’ newer (1988) than shown on the USGS map (1974).
