This is a digital copy of ‘Dothan’, a topographic map printed by the US federal government.
It is part of the Joint Operations Graphic (Air) series at 1:250,000. These topo maps are available throughout the Americas, and they portray the landscape more effectively than United States Geological Survey quads at the same scale. JOGs have the same attention to detail as 1×2 degree quadrangles, but their layer coloring, relief shading, landmarks, and minimal clutter give them superior legibility in the outdoors.
Key details of the printed map:
- edition 5
- reprinted in September 2005 by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
- published in April 2000 by the National Imagery and Mapping Agency
- air information current through September 20, 1999
- base map compiled in April 1997
- from survey information last dated 1997
This map offers more recent information than the equivalent USGS sheet, which was surveyed 32 years previously, in 1965.
